چکیده

This work reports on the synthesis, characterization, and photocatalytic performance of TiO2 inverse opal nanostructure (IP-TiO2) IP-TiO2 modified by Ag nanoparticles (Ag@IP-TiO2). The is fabricated using polystyrene spheres as template TiCl4 precursor, Ag@IP-TiO2 realized photoreduction method. morphological, structural, optical properties materials are investigated scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, ultraviolet–visible (UV-VIS) absorption spectroscopy, photoluminescence spectroscopy. Their performances studied degradation rifampicin antibiotic under visible-light irradiation generated an LED lamp. results demonstrate that composed mesopores arranged in honeycomb structure strongly absorbs visible light wavelength range 400–500 nm. facilitates catalytic activity IP-TiO2, which further enhanced surface modification nanoparticles. Our studies UV-VIS photoluminescent reveal presence not only enhances but also reduces recombination photogenerated electrons holes. These two factors create a synergic effect causes Ag@IP-TiO2.

Plasmon enhanced visible light photocatalysis for TiO2 supported Pd nanoparticles.

A photocatalyst consisting of nanostructured Pd photochemically deposited on 20 nm TiO2 displays a reaction half-life for rhodamine b decolourisation of 0.5 minute compared to the 9.4 minutes for unmodified P25 under identical reaction conditions. We associate this increased decolourisation rate to the increase in solar light harvesting which we have measured at 8% due to a significant red shif...

Nitrogen doped TiO2 for efficient visible light photocatalytic dye degradation

In this study, Nitrogen doped TiO2 photocatalysts were prepared by the sol gel method and physicochemical properties were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), photoluminescence, and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (DRS) techniques. The XRD data indicated that the nanoparticles had the same crystals structures as the pure TiO2</su...

Visible-light-driven surface reconstruction of mesoporous TiO2: toward visible-light absorption and enhanced photocatalytic activities.

The surface structure of mesoporous TiO(2) is reconstructed via a visible-light-driven reaction with benzyl alcohol molecules at mild, anaerobic conditions, which substantially extends its visible-light absorption and photocatalytic activities.

Immobilization of TiO2 Nanoparticles on Chlorella pyrenoidosa Cells for Enhanced Visible-Light-Driven Photocatalysis

TiO₂ nanoparticles are immobilized on chlorella cells using the hydrothermal method. The morphology, structure, and the visible-light-driven photocatalytic activity of the prepared chlorella/TiO₂ composite are investigated by various methods. The chlorella/TiO₂ composite is found to exhibit larger average sizes and higher visible-light intensities. The sensitization of the photosynthesis pigmen...
